Hanratty & Co Welcome Chris Tomley to the team

Hanratty & Co Solicitors are honoured to announce that Chris Tomley has joined our team as a Consultant Solicitor. Chris Tomley qualified in November 1972 and was a Solicitor in Mid Wales for many years, holding offices in Montgomery, Llanidloes, and Bishop’s Castle.

Coming from a family that have been intrinsically involved in the legal industry in Mid Wales, with both grandfathers being Solicitors, J.E. Tomley CBE of Montgomery and F.H. Jessop of Aberystwyth, Chris possesses unfathomable knowledge of the legal system. In 1978, Robert Hanratty became the first of Chris’ many Articled Clerks/Trainee Solicitors in the Mid Wales area.

Chris’ expertise is within agricultural law, areas of commerical and company law, commercial and residential property, and probate matters. He has advised several Community Councils, Village Hall Committees, and Charities, to build and improve their communities and facilities within Mid Wales and its surrounding area.
